KSF 4H Weekend
Cody and his heifer were Reserve Gelbvieh Heifer and Champion Bred and owned. Kaycee and Annie won their class. Kaycee and Cotton won their class in a tough Crossbred steer division. Cody dipped his toes in the pig show and had a blast in that barn, and learned a lot! Kaycee's photography picture recieved a blue! Successful weekend at the next level! Open show, kids back to school and Jr High Rodeo on the schedule for next weekend!

Kaycee won her first "KJRA Saddle"
It's official Cowgirl K did what she needed to do this summer to be all around cowgirl!! winning her 1st saddle in the KJRA.. thank you to all the crew for this wonderful association for putting together a great circuit. And helping her step up to the next level!

2021 Nebraska State Fair
Nebraska State Fair for a few days with 2 heifers and Kaycee. Cody had to stay home for football and then today come to find out he should have came along the whole time! But that's another story

If she's not showing she's rodeoing! Cowgirl got it put together this weekend in Kingman at the KJRA. All - Around cowgirl in her age group. I didn't get there this morning early enough to get pics of her roping. 1st in Breakaway sat 2nd Sunday. Missed both them pesky Breakaway steers, 2nd in goats both days, 2nd in poles sat, today knocked a pole.. 3rd in barrels today! Good job kiddo!

Murphy and my brother Doug Sanford that introduced the kids to this wonderful breed and helped direct the kids learn the ins and outs of a new breed. We love our Gelbvieh family! Kids had a great day and are bringing home a pile of loot along with this awesome honor.

Today was show day. Started off with Res. Champ intermediate showman for Cody. Champion Jr showman for Kaycee. Champion owned and Ch B&O Balancer Cow calf pair. Res. Owned & Res B&O Spring yearling balancer heifer with Journey, Owned and B&O Winter Yearling Heifer with Jessica. Champ Bred & Owned Fall Bull Calf with Spike. Champ Bred & Owned spring bull calf with Cody's bull calf on mercy. Kaycees new Heifer Annie B won her class and Cody's steer won his class.
Super proud of the kids and there calves this weekend and a huge shout out to Angie Huwaldt for coming in and helping fit and keeping us going! Your the best!

It was a fun few days in OKC!! Great team to work with!! Reserve Champion Balancer Bull 2021. XXB Block Party.. raised.by JJ Boehler. Boehler Gelbviehs are the breeders of several of the kids foundation females. Kids heifers placed well too both days in the open and junior show. But definitely ready to be home!
