If you don't come home from a show utterly and mentally exhausted your not doing it right... I'm JUST finally getting caught up from our trip to Junior Nationals last week with the kids. Think we did it right...
It definitely was one we won't forget. From the truck breaking down, camper jack giving out, tires leaking air and to our chummy barn experiences. But we all persevered and made it work!
Kids had a great week! Cody and his teammate made top 10 in the senior fitting contest, Kaycee and her team was 3rd in intermediate/jr team! Showmanship, Kaycee made it to finals! Both kids had fun judging, quiz bowl, photography and doing skillathon. But didn't make it in the top 10.
We had a blast with our friends and excited to be able to help and share our love with the next generation of those to find there people in the stock show world! Here's to next year! And a more memories being made!

Kansas Gelbvieh Junior kids helped host our Western Regional Show. And a great time was had hopefully by all!
For us bringing 5 hd, coming from home half prepared, getting flooded away the 1st night, 4 brought home banners, they did alright!
Cody - His heifer Jade was Champion Balancer Heifer and Reserve Balancer Female. Big Shot his bull was Reserve Balancer Bull, and his bred and owned steer Cowboy was named Champion Market Steer. Then he also surprised us winning the little judging contest class they put on.
Kaycee- won Intermediate Showman, Champion Intermediate Photography, and her Bred and Owned Heifer Lexi was Champion Bred and Owned!
Now to regroup and refocus, get on the grind for Junior Nationals prep on Oklahoma in 30 days!
